Linking to Library Resources from Moodle

When linking to an online article from Moodle, it is essential that you use the permanent URL, which is different from the URL that displays in your browser’s address bar.

Different databases use different names for the permanent URL and position it in different places. Here are the names and locations of the permanent URL in our most popular databases:

EBSCO databases (eg. Search Lyndon & Academic Search Premier)
The “permalink” is generated by clicking the button in the right-hand sidebar:

Academic OneFile (this applies to nearly all Gale databases)
Select “Bookmark” from the options located to the right of the search box. Copy and paste the URL. 

The “Stable URL” is at the top of the page:
